Under development from September 2007...

an all-new website for the parish, with all sorts of exciting possibilities.  Homestead has been great, but as a result of the Parish Plan it was decided to develop parish communicatins and to include a new website with a dedicated domain name, and an eNewsletter which can also be printed out for those in the parish without internet access.

This site will remain in existence for the time being, but new events and news will be publicised at

Your Plan, Your Day
Your chance to have your say!

On September 9th Parish residents were invited to the Hall to view some of the results of the Survey they completed in May this year.

The event was very well attended, and the weather was beautiful.  Information was displayed in the Hall, and further comments invited regarding key issues such as traffic blackspots, parking problems, and areas deserving of conservation.

Results will be gathered together and used as additional information in the development of the final Parish Plan.

The Parish Plan Steering Group did a marvellous job of organising the day.  Thanks also to other volunteers for helping out.  Everybody enjoyed their free cream tea during the afternoon, and the evening barbeque.  There were contributions from local musicians, and excellent evening entertainment from the Calstock Rubber Band.

If anyone has any further useful comments to make, please email:

The Blues Night was a great success and raised around £1,000 for Parish Hall funds.

Everyone had a great night and the rain held off until just before the end.

Thanks to Colin Hill, Steve Moir and the Barribals at Polhilsa for organising the event and raising the money and to the Jaspers who donated the ram roast.
